# Using external Dapps

Connect and interact with your favorite Dapps using our Smart Wallet.

Fortunately for you, connecting and interacting with external dapps using our [Dasboard/Wallet](https://venn-protocol.vercel.app/dashboard) is as easy as signing in. First, go to your favorite dapp website and click on the 'Sign In' or 'Connect' button. Now there should be an option to connect via *WalletConnect* like in the image below. Choose this option.

In the QR Code screen click on the double square icon to copy the connect link.&#x20;

If you can't find an option to copy the link, see if you can find an option to open the "WalletConnect modal" like the one you see in the screen below.

After you successfully copied the connect link, go to your dashboard, click in the connect icon, paste the link in the input box and click connect.

The approval message should show the address of the website you are trying to connect to. If the address matches, click in approve.

Now you should see your account info displayed in the dapp page, which means you are currently connected to it. You can interact with it now making any type of on-chain transactions and providing signatures. You need to make sure either your Dashboard or the Market Place is always open, and whenever you make take an action in the Dapp that requires approval (like transactions and signatures) you have to check back to your Dashboard (or the Market Place) and actively approve it like you did when you performed the connection (like shown in the screen below).&#x20;

> **IMPORTANT NOTE!! Always check the information about what you are approving before you click in 'Approve'.**&#x20;
