First, Sign In with the account holding the NFT. It doesn't need to be a Venn Smart Account, it can be a regular account, so NFT owners don't have to create a VSA to list their assets on our platform. After you are signed in, go to your dashboard clicking on the option in the navigation bar. There you should see your NFT's displayed, like in the image below.
To list NFT's, you can use a REGULAR account (EOA) as well as a Venn Smart Account. In the example below, we use an EOA through a popular browser extension wallet called Metamask.
Click on the NFT you want to list.
Now (as shown in the image above) you have to specify two things:
The maximum rental duration: the maximum period someone can rent this NFT. For example, if i put 3 days, anyone interested can only rent it for UP TO 3 days.
The rental price: the amount to be paid per unit of duration. For example if i put 0.003 ETH and select 'Day' as a unit, someone who rents my NFT for 3 days will pay me 3 * 0.003 = 0.009 ETH overall. Alternatively, if someone rents it for only a couple of hours, he/she will pay only the proportional rental price (i.e., 0.003 / 24 = 0.000125 ETH/Hour).
Now click on 'Approve Listing', and approve it through the wallet.
You can delist the NFT whenever you want. Just go to your dashboard click on the NFT, hit 'Delist' and approve it. If the NFT is currently being rented, it will be sent to your account as soon as the rent is due.
After that, hit 'List it', approve the transaction through the wallet and you are done! Remember, you CAN'T use your NFT while it is listed as it is being held by the Market Place smart contract. If you go to any NFT platform you will see a similar NFT in your portfolio. But that is only a receipt-NFT. To learn more refer to section.
